Follow-up Inspection

A post-inspection is typically conducted for vehicles that have previously undergone a pre-purchase inspection. Dealerships may request specific adjustments and minor repairs to the car but may only sometimes follow through on their promises. Therefore, it is advantageous to have a post-inspection to guarantee the vehicle is handed over to you in the best possible condition. The purpose of the post-inspection is to verify that all the dealership’s commitments have been fulfilled before you take possession of the car. It is always more prudent to exercise caution.

A post-inspection may include:

  • Evaluation of any minor dents, scratches, or paintwork that needed to be addressed.
  • Verification of any interior modifications that were supposed to be made.
  • Reassessment of any faulty electrical components.
  • Reviewing the issues identified in the initial inspection and confirming their resolution.
  • Road testing to check alignment and exhaust performance.
  • A comprehensive examination of the engine and the entire vehicle.
  • Analysis of the requested changes and their implementation.
